Scott Davis
Senior Pastor
Rev. Scott Davis brings a deep love for the local church, a passion for faithful biblical preaching, and decades of ministry experience to Sandy Springs. Called to ministry early in life, Scott has spent more than two decades serving in pastoral leadership, shepherding congregations with a heart focused on the Word of God and the spiritual growth of God’s people.
Scott holds a Bachelor of Theology (BTh) and serves as a professor with Covington Theological Seminary, where he invests in training the next generation of ministry leaders.
Scott’s ministry is marked by clear, exegetical preaching, intentional discipleship, and a strong commitment to helping churches develop healthy systems for outreach, assimilation, and leadership development. He has served in multiple pastoral roles throughout the Upstate and has faithfully led congregations through seasons of growth, challenge, and renewal.
Scott and his wife, Kelly, have been married for 32 years. Together they have four sons, three wonderful daughters-in-law, and five beautiful grandchildren who bring tremendous joy to their lives. Scott and Kelly share a deep love for the church and a passion for investing in the next generation.
Scott’s heart is to faithfully proclaim Christ, strengthen the local church, and help people take their next step in following Jesus.

Student Pastor
Pastor Art has a deep heart for students and a passion to see young lives transformed through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. With many years of experience as a business owner, Art brings both leadership and practical wisdom to his ministry. His vision is to help students grow in their faith, build meaningful relationships, and serve their community.
Art is currently working toward a dream that has been on his heart for years—building a camp designed specifically for students. This place will provide an environment where young people can grow closer to the Lord, develop strong friendships, and learn the value of serving others together.
Bob Smart
Music Minister/Deacon
Bob Smart has been a faithful and devoted member of Sandy Springs for many years. His deep love for the Lord and for the church is evident in his consistent service and steady leadership.
As Minister of Music, Bob leads our congregation in worship with a heart focused on glorifying Christ and shepherding the church through song. His passion is not simply for music itself, but for creating an atmosphere where God’s people can worship in spirit and in truth.
In addition to his role in music ministry, Bob faithfully serves as a deacon, supporting the spiritual health and practical needs of the church body. His wisdom, humility, and servant’s heart make him a trusted leader within our fellowship.
Bob and his wife Susan have served Sandy Springs faithfully for many years, modeling commitment, generosity, and steadfast devotion to the mission of the church. Their presence is a true blessing to our congregation.
